Union Challenges $14.8M Sacramento County Contract Awarded to Bobo Construction
A construction labor union has sharply criticized Sacramento County’s award of a $14.85 million contract to Bobo Construction to renovate the county’s youth behavioral health center, saying the decision raised concerns about the bidding and vetting process. The union argues that officials should revisit the contractor’s qualifications and address what it views as unresolved issues before the project moves forward. County leaders, however, say they reviewed and addressed any concerns during the procurement process and stand by their decision to award the contract to Bobo.
